Model 620 Pipistrello Lamp by Gae Aulenti for Martinelli Luce, made in Italy, 1970s. Its white opal shade, shaped after a bat's wings, sits on a cream colored telescopic brushed steel stem that raises and lowers the light. Aulenti designed it in 1965, and it remains one of the defining Italian lamps of the period.
