Serving Trolley 901 by Alvar Aalto for Artek, 1990s. The 901 serving trolley, designed by Alvar Aalto in 1936 and still one of the clearest expressions of his bent birch technique. Two oversized wheels and a laminated frame turn a utilitarian object into something closer to sculpture. Original ICF (International Contract Furnishings) distributor label on underside.
